Leesburg Star Bryant Plans Verbal Commitment, May 19, 2000

If Marlyn Bryant Attends Georgia State, He Would Join His High School Coach, Pat Todd.

LEESBURG - Marlyn Bryant, who led the Leesburg boys basketball team to a district championship and a 29-5 record during the 1999-2000 season, will make a non-binding verbal commitment today to attend and play basketball at Georgia State University in Atlanta.

If Bryant attends Georgia State, he will join his high school coach, Pat Todd, who announced Wednesday that he will resign from Leesburg to take an assistant coaching position at Georgia State.
