LEESBURG - Leesburg's scrappy Jackets get off to one of their earliest starts in years when the basketeers play host to Mainland High of Daytona at the Armory tonight. The junior varsity game is scheduled to start at 6:30 with the varsity game getting off at eight.
Expected to start for the Jeff Bramlett coached quintet are Center Bill Arnold, Forwards Buddy Stone and Danny Shay, along with Guards Max Wettstein and playmaker Billy Stephenson, all Guards Max Wettstein and playmaker Billy Stephenson, all lettermen. Backing up this senior loaded lineup will be Larry Williams, Mike Huey, John Gray, and Stan Gideons, Sophomores Clell Coleman, Pete Seng, and Tommy Brown round out the varsity.
