Leesburg's Freshman Troy Willis To Play in Hoop Mountain Tip-Off Jamboree March 23, 2011



Hoop Mountain Tip-Off Jamboree brings basketball teams


Hoop Mountain’s Florida Tip-Off Jamboree will fill the Orlando Magic Recreation Center in Winter Garden (309 S. West Crown Point Rd.) with boys basketball travel teams this weekend.


The 17-and-under and 16U divisions play on Saturday, the 15U and 14U divisions on Sunday – both starting at 8:30 a.m. and wrapping up around 8 p.m.


Entries include perennial travel team powers Nike Team Florida and Each One teach One.


Admission is $8.

Look for Leesburg freshman F/C Troy Willis to move up in the national recruiting rankings after a solid season in which he help lead Leesburg to the Class 4A Boys Basketball State Championship. Willis started the year ranked #15 in the Florida Hoops - 2014 Top 50 poll. The 6' 5", 195 lb. freshman averaged 6.1 ppg and 3.6 rpg.
